Follow these steps to properly maintain the leveler and extend its service life:
- Clean the area around the equipment and tidy the workspace daily.
- Tighten all screws after every 10 shifts of use.
- Check the machine’s levelness after every 3–4 uses and adjust to ensure it is level.
- Weekly: Add No. 2 lithium-based grease or No. 3 calcium-based grease to the oil pump (for lubricating bearings), mix with machine oil at a 4:1 ratio to make a viscous mixture, then use the hand pump to lubricate the roller seat bushings.
- Weekly: Apply No. 1–3 calcium-based grease to the worm gear, lead screw, and guide rails.
- Every three months: Add No. 50 engine oil to the reducer.
- Regularly: Add No. 32 machine oil to the reducer (check oil level); apply No. 20 machine oil to the universal joint moving parts.
