Causes and Solutions for Unstable Feeding Pitch of Levelers

Levelers simplify flattening processes, but issues like unstable feeding pitch require prompt resolution. Below are common causes and fixes:
  1. Material jamming in the die: Friction or tight contact with other components may hinder smooth material movement. Solution: Inspect and repair tight/interfering parts to ensure unobstructed material flow.
  2. Insufficient clamping force of upper/lower rolls: Weak initial pressure can cause sheet deviation, leading to unstable pitch. Solution: Adjust and reinforce the roll clamping force.
  3. Misadjusted roller angle or loose die guide hole: These issues may cause the sheet to slip backward under pressure, disrupting the pitch. Solution: Have maintenance staff adjust the roller angle and secure the die guide hole for proper alignment.
